MANDATORY TRAINING

All of our trainer courses assist with compliance of the Care Certificate standards developed jointly by Skills for Care, Health Education England and Skills for Health and in meeting with regulating/inspecting body training requirements.

At Coast 2 Coast Care, we have tailor-made our mandatory training course, so all our HCA's or Support Workers need to complete the course before going out to work. The compulsory training happens over two consecutive days, and in addition to that, we can also offer further training on different aspects of care.

Person-Centred Care Training
The training we provide at Coast 2 Coast enables our staff to provide the highest standard of person-centred care possible to the individuals they support. All staff attend two days of mandatory training, whether they have a career change or are currently working within the care sector.

Clare Wilcox, who has over 20+ years of experience working within the care industry with experience in Learning Disabilities, PMLD, complex health needs, positive behaviour support, and older adults, is carried out the two-day in-person training course. Clare has been training the NHS and the private sector for over eight years.

The Coast 2 Coast training is facilitated in a relaxed style, ensuring inclusivity for all trainees. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of face-to-face training within a classroom environment; this allows the trainees and trainer to build a professional and friendly relationship, giving the trainees confidence to ask questions.
Trainees can also provide peer support to each other and share their experiences.
